THE UNWANTED ROCK - A piece about elevating the unwanted and broken.

A very large pinky ring from 18 carat (recycled) gold with an imperfect, broken crystal. Height approximately 3,7 cm, width approximately 2 cm, depth approximately 3,4 cm, weight approximately 16 grams of gold, plus approximately 12 gram crystal.

Made on request, preferably from client’s neglected gold.

THE UNWANTED ROCK expresses the spiritual saying The stone, the builders refused has become the head stone of the corner.’ An unwanted rock - in this case a broken crystal - will be the most precious.

The elevated crystal was already originally damaged, and deliberately chosen for its imperfection.

THE UNWANTED ROCK consists of three - trinity - 18 carat golden rings and is made on request, preferably from left-over and unwanted, depreciated gold, one has somewhere in the house, forgotten. As a sustainable resurrection of dead gold.

Notice that a single liana is slightly snaking over the stone symbol for nature overgrowing, and possibly reawakening what was neglected - unwanted - by people.

THE UNWANTED ROCK is relatively outrageous, still this abundance is given to the lowest, and overlooked one…the pinky.

THE UNWANTED ROCK will be numbered, engraved with its conceptual name, and each will have its unique, perfectly chosen imperfect stone.
